Life Cycle Status 'Classic'
As announced during GSC, ACOPOS 8V will be the first product to follow our new discontinuation procedure.
Therefore, the entire ACOPOS 8V family will be transitioned into SAP to Classic phase.
That means this products are not longer recommended for new projects. This phase is the beginning of the
phase-out of products.
Impacted devices - general
ACOPOS
We discontinue the ACOPOS in two steps:
Step 1:
Discontinuation of all ACOPOS devices, excepted the high power devices. This discontinuation starts
now, all discontinuation dates are fixed and will published in a separate Sales Notice. All concerned
ACOPOS devices are set on 'Classic'.

Step 2:
Discontinuation of the ACOPOS high power devices. The discontinuation of the high power devices
will start when we introduce the successor products, which are not available now. Because the
concrete dates are not clear now (approx. in 2 years), the high power ACOPOS devices remain in
'Active' phase until we have a resilient planning.
Plugin-modules, cables and accessories
The major quantities of plugin-modules, cables and accessories of the ACOPOS series are used in the
discontinued ACOPOS, this parts will be set on 'Classic' too. Because this parts are also used with the high
power ACOPOS, the parts will stay in 'Classic' until we discontinue the high power ACOPOS.
Sets
All set 8ACC:... or 8ACP:... will also be switched to Classic.
