Key Information
Due to the lower demand for printed training modules looking back on
the deliveries of the last 18 months, we have decided to discontinue
most the existing training modules. Only a selection of high runner
training modules will be available from stock. In this way, we can
optimize procurement and logistics costs and also pay better attention
to the environment. All training modules will remain to be available for
download on the B&R website.

Our training modules provide the basis for learning both at seminars as well as for self-study. These compact
modules rely on a consistent didactic concept. Their bottom-up structure allows complex, interrelated topics
to be learned efficiently and effectively. They serve as the best possible companion to our extensive
Automation help documentation.

Digitalization of training modules - reduction of logistics effort and cost
The world is getting more digital by the time. Paper is still a valuable source for providing information during
training. Nevertheless, we got used to digital documents while working at home and during distance
learning.
In order to save costs by reducing logistics efforts we decided to analyze the consumption of printed training
modules from the period of 1st of January 2021 to 1st of July 2022.
The quantity delivered fell by around 75% from 17,000 pieces in 2019. Of some order codes, we have only
sent a single-digit number within 2 years.
We identified the list of "high runner" Training Modules by 19th of July 2022 - looking back the last 18 month -
minimum shipment quantity within 18 month is 75 pieces.
The B&R brand refresh is a good opportunity to clean up our stock. We will discontinue all order codes.
The high runners we could identify will get a new order code and will be available from stock by applying the
new B&R brand experience.
All other materials will be available for download.
