Announcement: Update on Standard Lead Times (SLT)
Dear valued partner,
we are contacting you today to update you on the planned adjustment to our indicative
Standard Lead Times (SLT).
Our efforts and investments in production expansion have resulted in an increase of
our overall global delivery volume, supported by a positive shift in the supply situation
for the component market.
Accordingly, we expect a reduction in our current SLT in the third quarter 2023, orders
issued from August 2023 onwards of approximately 26 weeks. We are also reviewing
orders currently indicated with 52 weeks SLT for a potential adjustment for an earlier
delivery date – your B&R Sales contact will be in touch with further information if this
is a viable option for any of your existing open orders.
While we anticipate announcing final details in August, it’s important for us to retain a
transparent line of communication with you as a valued partner. Equally, we also want
to take the opportunity to thank you for your patience and continued trust.
We hope that this adjustment of the SLT and the order landscape is welcome news,
indicating a critical step towards increased stability in planned delivery dates.
