Preamble
With SN 29/2021, B&R discontinued the CompactFlash card family 5CFCRD.*-06 due to a discontinuation of
the raw material.
Unfortunately the order income combined with the necessary Last Time Buy deadlines, led to a high backlog
of orders which cannot be covered.
Furthermore many orders where placed after the last time buy deadline and are still being placed, which
causes an almost impossible material planning.
Release for PP400
To ease the delivery situation we are currently facing, RnD tested the new CompactFlash cards
0CFCRD.0512E.02 and 0CFCRD.1024E-02 in combination with the PP400 product family. After successful
completion
of the tests, these CompactFlash cards are released now for PP400 products.
Procedure
Kindly switch existing orders of 5CFCRD.0512-06 and 5CFCRD.1024-06 for or in combination with PP400
products, to the new CompactFlash cards 0CFCRD.0512E.02 and 0CFCRD.1024E-02.
